Maricel Briones, DPT, CMTPT, OCS

Maricel received her BS in Exercise Science followed by a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, both at Old Dominion University. She is now a Partner of the Ivy Rehab Network and an Area Director of her region in Virginia Beach, VA. She is certified in Orthopedics as well as Dry Needling. She also specializes in Pelvic Health Rehab and is the Clinical Leader of PH for Ivy Rehab. Maricel serves as a Lead Teacher Assistant for Herman Wallace for Pelvic Floor Courses. She has earned the highest Clinical Ladder Level of "Expert Clinician" of Ivy Rehab since 2019. She is part of the Graduating Class of 2020 for the LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Development) Program of Ivy Rehab. With her Direct Access certification, she can treat patients immediately to assist with a quick recovery. She sees patients for Male/Female Pelvic Health, Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, TMJ, Vestibular Therapy, and McKenzie for Lumbar and Cervical Conditions. Maricel continues to learn with others at Herman Wallace as she is a host and TA. She provides Mentorship to others and participates in Mentorship program for herself. She has a high value in endless learning. Maricel loves family and social events and is always offering to help anyone in need.
