Jasmine Sia DPT, PRPC (Lockport, IL)

Jasmine Sia DPT, PRPC - Staff Physical Therapist received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Health and Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 2004. In her last year of physical therapy school, she interned as the first women’s health physical therapy student at Loyola Hospital in Maywood. There she learned extensively to evaluate and treat women who experience pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. Prior to graduation, she has submitted and presented her professional practicum, "Balance Quest Normative Research Study with Head Shake Protocol".

 

Since the beginning of her clinical practice, Jasmine has been committed in specializing in women's health. She has started and expanded a women's health program at Accelerated Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Prospect and soon became the site supervisor. In the early 2010, Jasmine added men's health to her practice for post-treatment of prostate cancer and pelvic pain. She currently works at DuPage Medical Group in Aurora, IL.

 

Jasmine actively takes continuing education through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute. She has lectured in the Northwest suburb and the Chicagoland area to physicians, nurses, worker's compensation groups and park districts on women's and men's health.

Jasmine recently earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

When not at work, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her son Aiden, husband, and family, traveling, and listening/watching to 80's/90's music/movies.
