I received a B.S in biology from the University of Illinois and then completed Physical Therapy training at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. Before I focused my attention on Pelvic Health Rehabilitation my primary concentration was treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. I successfully completed a 3-year residency program at the Gulf Coast Post Graduate Orthopedic Manual Therapy Institute and had the great fortune during that time to be mentored by Dr Edward Stiles an Osteopath, who has received numerous awards including the A.T. Still Medallion of Honor. In 2016, I completed dry needling coursework with Double E.

In my own private practice I had the opportunity to work with professional dancers, national bodybuilding champions, and Broadway dancers in the Mama Mia national production. I became interested in treating pelvic health patients in 2008 and most recently have had a focus on addressing pelvic health conditions in the male population. I work at UNC-Rex Rehabilitation of Raleigh where I am part of a team of therapists who helped design and develop the curriculum for the Women’s Health Residency Program, which was accredited this last year. I have been very excited about the opportunity to not only mentor the residents in the program but also to have the opportunity to learn from them. I am the lead pelvic therapist at UNC-Rex Outpatient Rehabilitation which includes ten very talented and creative therapists from three different outpatient departments. One of the most exciting aspects of my journey in the arena of pelvic health rehabilitation has been the opportunity to learn from the outstanding faculty at Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Institute and have been especially grateful for the opportunity to be a TA with the institution for the last 6 years.

Outside of physical therapy I enjoy dancing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
